My name is Cassie Torrecillas and I am the Co-Founder of Bucketlist Bombshells, which is an online community and course, where we teach millennial women how to run an online service-based business, so that they have the freedom to travel the world.
I decided to come to Dojo Bali because I was looking for my next destination as a digital nomad and I really wanted to go somewhere with kind of a tropical environment in Asia, just because I love Asia and it has a low cost of living. By the beach is a perk and I wanted somewhere that had an awesome coworking space.
Dojo has been amazing. I would say, when I first got here, I traveled to Bali completely by my own, and I would say I basically lived here because I spent so much time. Just in the community they have a ton of awesome events, and you basically find a second home in Bali which is what I found. Friends, events, a support network of amazing people that are living a similar lifestyle as you and also people who are wanting to go out and have a good time but still during the day getting work done.
I have made so many friends, and I would say longer-term friends because I found that compared to some other digital nomad destinations people here in Bali, or more specifically Canggu or Dojo, are here for a longer period of time, so at least a couple of months and that has really allowed me to make longer-term friendships.
Also, Business connections, I would say just a support network has been kind of the best thing that I have found here at Dojo.
The community. No, but seriously, the community here doesn’t just feel like a bunch of people coming to an office space and going there own – like sitting in their own little cubicles and not really talking, but people are actually chatting, getting to know each other. When you come here you feel that community sense and you really feel at home here.
I would say just stop thinking about it and just come! I feel like if you are reading a blog post or if you are on the Dojo website or on youtube right now, stop researching it and just book your flight. I feel like it’s difficult to put into words kind of the magic that this place has for entrepreneurs so better get here! Can’t wait to see you at Dojo Bali!
