E: So, my name is Elena. I’m twenty-seven years old, I’m Spanish and, um, I am a translator. I, um, translate from English, French into Spanish and I do mainly website translation, mobile app translation for businesses and companies.

(on screen) *Why did you come to Dojo Bali?*

So, um, I quit my full-time job a year ago. I was living in London and then I decided to move back home to the Canary Islands and it’s become, um, over the last two years it’s become quite a big digital nomad hotspot. Am, so I integrated myself into the nomad community and, ah, a lot of people started talking about Bali and they recommended Bali as a place to come and travel and work. Ah, and more specifically Dojo. So, I thought I’d give it a try and I bought a one-way ticket and here I am. Because I thought if so many different people who are not connected in any way, they all recommend the same place there must be something about it, so, here I am. (laughter)

(on screen) *What did you find at Dojo Bali?*

E: My first impression of Dojo is that, um, it’s probably the best co-working space that I’ve been to. Like, the space itself is, is amazing and, um, it’s got a lot of different areas and every area has its, sort of, own vibe. You have the tables by the pool where it feels really chilled and relaxed, we have the air-con rooms, um, upstairs where pretty much no one bothers you. Um, it’s a great great space. Um, and the sense of community is, is amazing here.

(on screen) *What is the very best thing about Dojo Bali?*

E: It’s, it’s the sense of community that you get here and I think it, like, comes in two different forms. In one way it feels like coming to work with all your friends which is always great. And then on the other hand you always find people around who are willing to help or who might need help from you, um, because you’re always surrounded by people who know a lot of things about a lot of things. So, um, if you need help with, I don’t know, Facebook adds or Amazon sales, anything. There’s always someone around who’s willing to sit down with you for a couple of hours and then help you out which is really valuable.

(on screen) *What would you say to anyone thinking about coming to Dojo Bali?*

E: Oh, just come! You’re gonna love it. Not just Dojo but Bali is, is a gem. You’re, you’re gonna love this place. Just come. (laughter)
