A milestone month for Cogiving! It was incredible to see the community get together on a major project that could make a significant impact to the local community. For everything else that has happened in Cogiving in March and what is coming up this month, here is a breakdown.
Since last week I wish I would be 10 again. I wish I’d be able to go to school one more time. More precisely – Green School in Bali. Dojo organised a field trip to visit the institution and explored Green School’s “new paradigm for learning”.
What a success! On the weekend of 24th-25th of March 2018, Dojo Bali hosted the first ever Impactathon. During the course of 72hours the web application for Merah Putih Hijau, one of our cogiving initiatives, was built. A story about success, fears, sweat, time management and the power of community.
It has definitely been an active month for Cogiving at Dojo with several big events happening and some big plans being plotted for the coming month. Here are all our highlights.
We hit the ground running in Cogiving this year! There were heaps happening – from the recommencement of paused projects, new initiatives, new cogiving partnerships, completed projects and new events. Here is a breakdown of all that’s been happening in Cogiving at Dojo in January.
We cannot emphasize just how much ‘community’ encompasses the ethos for all Dojo stands for. MPH’s mission is to make a lasting positive impact on the environment and might be an answer to Bali’s waste crisis.
A few weekends ago, I had a humbling opportunity to join a trip to the Jembrana Regency of West Bali. The trip was organized as a collaboration between Dojo Bali and Five Pillar Foundation – one of Dojo’s non-profit organization partner – in the Cogiving program. Five Pillar Foundation members consist of local youth from the Jembrana Regency in West Bali.
It has been a much more relaxed month for Cogiving during the holiday season, but nevertheless, we have had some very interesting and fun activities take place. Here’s a recap of all that’s been happening with Dojo Cogiving in December, and what’s coming up.
Dojo Bali is a coworking space located on the beautiful island of Bali, Indonesia. Dojo Canggu is open 24/7 and located at Echo Beach, Canggu offering a collaborative and relaxing coworking environment. New locations are coming soon. Stay tuned to find out where the next Dojo will be set up.
