1 Day. 30 Dojo peeps. A million memories. A review on the Dojo Day-trip to Lembongan Island; with manta rays, cliff jumping and new friends.
Since last week I wish I would be 10 again. I wish I’d be able to go to school one more time. More precisely – Green School in Bali. Dojo organised a field trip to visit the institution and explored Green School’s “new paradigm for learning”.
The first Dojo Hackathon was launched last year to help build a bridge between its members and the social impact projects that are part of the cogiving initiative. Not only was it a fun opportunity to learn, grow, and collaborate for all involved it displayed just how much of a positive impact a community can have when they come together with a common goal. Valentine’s Day should not just be a day for lovers; it should be an entire WEEK where everybody gets to experience a lil’ love and appreciation. After all, love and appreciation leads to happiness. And happiness is known to boost productivity.
The short time that I have spent so far, one thing has become clear to me. Dojo cares about developing a community where entrepreneurs from around the world can connect, collaborate, and chill together. From the time I walked through the doors, I have been encouraged to join one of the many events happening at Dojo every day. One of those happened to be a day trip to Lembongan island, located just off the southeast coast of Bali.
A few weekends ago, I had a humbling opportunity to join a trip to the Jembrana Regency of West Bali. The trip was organized as a collaboration between Dojo Bali and Five Pillar Foundation – one of Dojo’s non-profit organization partner – in the Cogiving program. Five Pillar Foundation members consist of local youth from the Jembrana Regency in West Bali.
Bringing together the best minds in the digital marketing industry, DMSS is the killer conference in 2017, consisting of two action packed days of collaboration, skill sharing, and networking here on the tropical Island of Bali.
